In a recent episode of The Office, Michael Scott (Steve Carell) contacted all of his exes after a herpes scare (okay, it was a cold sore but this is Michael Scott we're talking about). While he got to see most of his former flames in person, fans of the show were only treated to a short (but adorable) phone conversation between Michael and the one woman who is really meant for him -- Holly Flax (Amy Ryan).
But soon enough, Molly (or Hichael?) fans can rejoice, as Holly will make her return on The Office's hour-long Christmas episode, airing Dec. 9. Directed by Rainn Wilson (Dwight) and written by Mindy Kaling (Kelly), the show has already been filmed. "Finishing 'directing' @mindykaling's brilliant double episode 'Classy Christmas,'" Wilson tweeted last week, with Kaling adding that "It's gonna wreck you, Jackass style."
Don't get too excited though, because love might not be in the air. "Holly's in a serious relationship back in Nashua, so she's not thrilled to be back," executive producer Paul Lieberstein (Toby) hinted to E!
Of course, this will be Carell's last season as the hapless Michael Scott, so we can still hold out hope that Michael and Holly will ride off into the sunset in his sports car.
