Don Black named Icon at BMI London Awards
Lyricist Don Black, who won an Oscar in 1967 for the title song of the film "Born Free," with music by John Barry, and a Tony in 1995 for lyrics in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Broadway stage hit "Sunset Boulevard," was named a BMI Icon at the BMI London Awards on Tuesday night.
