Report: DJ AfroJack Dumps Paris Hilton
The realm of celebrity romance is a tricky place, and Paris Hilton has been sent packing by her boyfriend DJ AfroJack.
According to a report, the couple dated for six months before AfroJack decided he needed to regain his freedom. Hence, he dumped the “Simple Life” starlet.
An insider told press, "Afrojack had moved into Paris' Beverly Hills mansion earlier this year, and the two got very serious, very fast."
"Paris was really into him and admires the work he has done. Afrojack did a lot of the work on Paris' new album which will be released later this year. He took a lot of criticism for working with her, but he truly does believe that she has talent. Paris was smitten with him, but Afrojack just wanted to have fun and not be exclusive with anyone. He is on the road practically every day performing in clubs all over the world, and he just isn't ready to settle down, whereas Paris is."
As for her new album, "Paris has been working with Flo Rida, LMFAO and David Guetta, and the album should be released this summer," added the source.
"Paris hopes to embark on a European concert tour to promote the album, which will consist of house music. She knows she has a lot riding on this project because her last reality show was canceled and she needs to do something to re-invent herself. Paris is hoping to appeal to a broader fan base and would love to use the album as a platform for a possible project with MTV. Yes, Paris is a very successful businesswoman, and she is about to release her fifteenth fragrance, but that isn't enough for her. Paris craves the attention from the media and her fans and she is truly feeling the pressure to deliver on this, because she doesn't have any other television or movie projects lined up."

<P>Former "X Factor" judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger have remained pretty tight-lipped regarding the news that <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/spears_britney/artist.jhtml">Britney Spears</a> and <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/lovato__demi/artist.jhtml">Demi Lovato</a> <a href="/news/articles/1685066/britney-spears-demi-lovato-x-factor.jhtml">will replace them</a> on the next season of the Fox show. Until now, that is.</P><P>This week, Abdul sat down with Wendy Williams on her talk show and had only the kindest things to say about both of those ladies.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Britney Spears Explains Why She Wanted To Be A Part Of 'X Factor'" id="vid:769620" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>"I think it's going to be great, and I'll tell you why. I think people are anticipating seeing Britney Spears. She's overcome a tremendous amount of adversity. And I'm always for the underdog coming back.</P><P>"She's a big star," Abdul said in footage posted on <a href="http://perezhilton.com/2012-05-24-wendy-williams-500th-show-paula-abdul-x-factor-drama-simon-cowell#.T75eV9xfFM4" target="_blank">Perezhilton.com</a>.</P><P>"And then there's a new budding star, Demi, with her music," she continued. She toured with her back in 2009 and added a bit of advice for the pop star. "Britney is so bubbly and warm and everyone loves her anyway, so she just has to be herself," Scherzinger told <a href="http://www.eonline.com/news/marc_malkin/britney_spears_new_x_factor_judging_gig/308323#ixzz1vntHzHMj" target="_blank">E! News</a>. "I think that it's something that we can't deny, but there's something about Britney that we ... are always rooting for her and behind her, no matter what."</P><P>According to Britney fansite <a href="http://www.breatheheavy.com/2012/05/official-x-factor-austin-texas-auditions-post/?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitterfeed" target="_blank">Breatheheavy.com</a>, Spears and Lovato will sit at the judges' table for the first time on Thursday (May 24) in Austin for auditions. Spears is expected to work an eight-hour day. She will also be in Austin on Friday for more auditions.</P><P>Cowell confirmed at the Fox upfront earlier this month that this week would mark the beginning of filming with the <a href="/news/articles/1685206/britney-spears-x-factor-concept.jhtml">new judges</a>.</p>
